This position is an entry-level Airway Transportation Systems Specialist (ATSS). All duties of an ATSS are tied to maintaining safe and efficient operating capacity of the vast and complex network or electronics systems required for the world's largest air traffic control and navigation system. ATSS personnel install, evaluate, maintain, modify and certify facilities, services and equipment that support the National Airspace System (NAS).
Joining the Secret Service as a Special Agent will allow you to perform critical protective and investigative assignments. The Special Agent position starts at a base salary of $48,854.00 (GL-07, step 1), with promotion potential to $118,204.00 (GS-13, step 10). These positions are available throughout various USMS Districts in the Continental US (CONUS). The selectee of this position serves as an Investigative Analyst. You will be responsible for collecting and analyzing a variety of intelligence data, and processing, tracking and inputting warrants into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database.
